Working as a Freelance Practitioner, Head of Learning for Oxford Playhouse as well as Director of Young People’s Theatre at The Point Heidi has gained extensive experience of leading and developing a programme of enriching performing arts activities; including collaborating on creative learning programmes with Headlong, Globe Touring, Shared Experience, Travelling Light, Bristol Old Vic, National Theatre, HofeshSchecter, Les Enfant Terrible, the egg and Druid Theatre.

She has developed a diverse programme of activity including; storytelling for young mothers, under 5’s and family engagement programme, youth theatre curriculum (aged 12-22), artistic development for regional artists, teachers workshops, New writing opportunities, visually and hearing impaired access programme, programmes aimed at engaging younger audiences at risk and bespoke projects with a range of partners.

Always committed to the importance of on-going professional development she led a programme at Oxford School of Drama, led industrial placements with University of Winchester, directed and devised performances at Oxford Brookes University, and was a widening participation leader as part of the Sutton Trust for st John’s College, Oxford University.
